A step in the right direction

After years of trying to fit into mold after mold, I have decided to forge my own. Art has been a huge part of my life since I was very young, and I am taking the steps necessary to lean in fully. It is scary, but I accept that I will never be truly happy working a typical 9-5. The world is a terrifying place right now, for so many reasons, so it is our job as creatives to show that there is still beauty and kindness out there.

I truly do believe that my great purpose is to bring happiness to others. Cooking, art, a joke or two; this is what I am meant to do. I am endlessly excited to see where this journey takes me, but I do sense good things on the horizon. I am not sure where the winds of change will take me. What I do know is that it will be full of wonder.
